Autumn
Come and visit Japan in the cool Autumn weather. This is typically a Japanese persons favourite time of year normally stated due to the cool weather and the beautiful Autumn leaves. At this time of year Hakone, Fuji and the surrounding area have some of the most incredible autumn colours and view. As things cool down for the summer on Fuji the highest mountain in Japan starts to shine. Without the crowds it takes on a different atmopshere and shows its true beauty for those willing to persure it.
Meanwhile in Hakone rare and beautiful flowers bloom in Autumn the trails and transport become quieter and it`s your chance to see what made this area more popular than any other outdoor destination in Japan.

With such a variety of hotel and Ryokans our tours are private and personally designed for each tour. Using a varitey of local transport methods and walking trails you`ll have the best that Hakone has to offer on a day to day basis.
Winter
During early and peak winter I`m working in the remote region of Tohoku as the operations manager of the company Japan Ski Tours. We are offering week long tours showing the back country of Tohoku and the hidden gems of Japow. These include options from privately guided tours, cat skiing and week long guided tours. The various trips all focus on side and backcountry.

During later winter and early spring I return to my local area of Gotemba where we guide off season on Mt. Fuji. The 3776m mountain is a different beast in the off season and summit attempts should only be considered for those with previous winter climbing experience. I also offer trips on lower sections of the mountain still requiring winter skills and hikes throughout Hakone with georgous views of Mt.Fuji, stunning climbs and breathtaking drops.

In addition to this our custom tours of Hakone and Fujiyoshida area availble regularly. Winter and early spring offer perfect hiking temperatures and stunning views of a snow covered Mt.Fuji.
Spring
One of the best and most popular times to visit Japan with the iconic cherry blossom and cool temperatures in the morning and evening, beautiful, long and sunny days it`s certainly one of my favorites.

During this time of year our tours in the Hakone and Fujiyoshida area area always custom designed to show the best of Japan`s beauty at this time of year. The cherry blossoms backed by Mt.Fuji can`t be beaten for the view and the best in my opinion is seen from Mt.Kintoki.
